One row per arrival date. Count only letters that arrived that day; update the row if you request scans later. Do not add old backlog or recount a letter. Record counts only—no senders, contents, addresses or account information.

C = complete, P = partial, U = unobserved. Leave an unknown count blank. Enter 0 only when you confirmed zero. Wanted originals are separate from scan counts; they do not automatically become shipment inputs.
Completed arrival days: _____ of 7. Known totals: received _____; need scans _____; pages _____; wanted originals _____.
Optional 30-day arithmetic uses the same completed days with known arrivals and scan-letter counts: totals ÷ compatible days ×30. Round letter counts up. Derive pages/letter only from complete compatible known pages and openings; with no openings the ratio is undefined. A short sample is not a representative monthly forecast.
Low, expected and high are your assumptions, not confidence intervals. Choose counts you want to test; compare immediately or revisit after another period.
Uneven letters: 2 and 20 pages total 22. With 10 pages included per letter, excess is 10 pages; two 11-page letters have only 2 excess pages. A uniform long-letter test is not an exact mixed-mail invoice or guaranteed ceiling.
