Give each customer inquiry an owner and a next step with EngageBay

EngageBay brings customer records, sales follow-up, email marketing and support tools into one platform. It can help a small team see what needs to happen next. Start with the job you need to organize and check Free before paying for a larger suite.

Choose the job first

Choose the job before the subscription

Start with the job: customer records and sales follow-up, marketing campaigns, or support questions. Compare the relevant Bay and Free option before buying the All-in-One suite. Paid plans use per-user US-dollar prices; confirm the selected billing term, users and contact/email limits before comparing the total.

Keep customer details and follow-ups together
CRM & Sales Bay: Use records, deal stages and tasks so an inquiry has an owner and a next action. Check Users, pipelines, permissions and the task or automation features you need.
Send relevant campaigns to an appropriate audience
Marketing Bay: Organize contacts and campaigns with segmentation and the available automation tools. Check Contact count, sending limits, branding, automation tier and permission to communicate.
Connect marketing, sales and support work
All-in-One: Evaluate a shared workspace when multiple teams need the same customer context. Check the combined requirement with tools you already have; avoid paying twice for the same job.
Track questions after a sale
Service Bay: Use helpdesk and live-chat software to organize questions and responses. Check Free options first, then advanced feature requirements; your team still provides the response.

Check Free and selected paid-plan limits. The merchant page does not preselect your product, plan, users or billing term.

Try the smallest setup that fits

Keep an adequate spreadsheet or shared inbox for a small workload; EngageBay Free is another starting point. Do not require a paid CRM merely because the reader runs a business.

Check the current Free user/contact allowance and sending limits; a user count does not multiply contact capacity. Paid plans are priced per user in US dollars. Confirm the Bay, tier, billing term, full payment and renewal terms. Check the final charge on the selected merchant page.

A practical inquiry-to-support workflow

Capture the inquiry → assign an owner and next action → follow up on the requested job → hand open questions to support. This is a planning example, not a configured integration or tested result.

  1. Capture the requestRecord the person's details and what they asked for. Keep the source and any marketing-permission record; an inquiry is not automatically a newsletter subscription.
  2. Assign the next stepGive the inquiry to a specific teammate with a task and date. Use a deal stage that matches your process, such as New inquiry, Quote sent or Waiting for a decision.
  3. Follow up appropriatelyRespond to the requested job. Keep optional marketing separate, and use the audience and permissions appropriate to that message.
  4. Hand over supportAfter a sale, use a ticket or other agreed support process for open questions. A recorded customer or an automated message does not mean a person is covering the queue.

Keep a request separate from marketing

An inquiry is not automatically a marketing signup. Software does not establish permission to send or guarantee compliance. Check the rules for the actual message, recipient and circumstances.

Check before choosing a paid plan

  • Which job needs a new tool, and which existing subscriptions will stay?
  • Which Bay and tier includes the required feature?
  • How many people need paid access, and what may each person see or change?
  • How are contacts counted, and what are the email-send limits and reset periods?
  • What is the currency, billing term, total due and renewal/cancellation arrangement?
  • Are messaging credits, AI features, integrations or outside services separately charged?
  • Can you import your current records and retain the information you need when leaving?

Service-only Free helpdesk/live-chat software is an ordinary alternative. No paid service-only, messaging-credit, AI add-on or third-party earning scope is inferred. Your team still supplies the human response.
