Confirm acceptance first
Before paying, confirm the recipient accepts this document and electronic notarization. Use abroad may also require an apostille or authentication certificate; the document and destination control that separate process.
Document, witness and identity checks
Confirm the required notarial act, wording and document witnesses with the recipient or document preparer. For use abroad, start with official document-authentication guidance and the document’s issuing authority. Online access does not establish acceptance for every document or destination.
Then ask the service to confirm your signing location, accepted ID and identity-verification option. A supported photo ID alone may not complete every identity check. MailboxCompare does not approve documents, confirm legal validity or collect your ID.

Fees and official service links
A session, a notarial seal or stamp, a signer, a page block and a witness are different units. These examples are not complete quotes or a ranking of the cheapest service.
Compare the detailed fee units
These are standalone retail observations. Mailbox verification can use a provider-specific or included session with different conditions.

Preparation checks
- Recipient and document: confirm electronic acceptance, the complete document and what must be signed in the session. Ask before signing or dating it. Already signed? Check the required act before paying.
- People: confirm every signer, any required document witnesses and whether they must join together. Check the actual arrangement and fee.
- Identity route: ask which ID and verification steps the service requires for each signer and location. Keep personal details and documents with the chosen service.
- Equipment: have a working camera, microphone, supported device and stable connection. Check that every participant can join.
- Completed file: download it from the service and confirm delivery in the recipient’s accepted format.
A document witness observes signing. An identifying witness or verifier serves a different identity-check role under the provider’s process. Do not assume that buying an on-demand document witness supplies an identity-verification alternative, or that the notary can also be your witness.

Local bank conditions
Bank of America advertises notary service without a charge for its customers at many financial centers. Confirm the particular center, document, appointment and required witnesses; availability is not a promise for every branch or document.
