Essentials Starter offers no-cost collaboration with existing work email; it does not include Gmail. Check its eligibility rather than assuming an existing Workspace subscription can switch to it.
Essentials Starter lists 15 GB of Drive storage per person and up to 100 users per team, without a paid trial; teams created before June 3, 2022 have a legacy 25-user limit.

A monthly bill can carry an annual commitment
Flexible lets you reduce users or cancel without an annual commitment. Annual/Fixed-Term retains the purchased license commitment until renewal; early cancellation leaves the remaining contract balance due. Check the payment schedule offered for your country and purchase.
For three Starter users: $25.20 a month on Flexible, or a $21 monthly rate with a $252 one-year base commitment, before extras. The latter is not a cancel-anytime $21 subscription.

- Plan access and departureDecide who owns business files, who receives access, and how access is removed when someone leaves.
Custom-domain features require appropriate domain verification and setup. A limited email-verified signup is not completed custom-domain email. This guide does not collect credentials or make DNS changes.
Keep different jobs separate
Existing email and office tools may be enough. A dedicated inbox service is an email decision; compare any document or meeting tools separately. No like-for-like price winner is implied.
Search Console is a Free diagnostic tool, not a Workspace feature you must buy. Paid Workspace does not buy rankings. A mailbox alone does not qualify a business for Google Business Profile; online-only businesses are ineligible under Google’s rules.
