Guided business formation

LegalZoomlegalzoom.com

Get help turning your idea into a registered company.

For someone who wants help preparing a formation order and choosing the documents and support their new LLC needs.

  • Follow a guided order process for preparing state formation documents and checking the business name.
  • Choose package-specific operating-agreement, EIN and professional-help options.
  • Keep the initial filing, state fees and optional renewing subscriptions separate before you pay.

The live page checked October 24 lists Basic $0, Managed Service $249 and Expert Service $299, plus state fees. The latter two include 30-day subscriptions that then renew at $49/month or $99/month. Confirm the exact offer; this is not a complete startup invoice.

Choose support, then check what renews

Basic filing help

Basic in that package set includes formation documents and a name check. Government fees are additional. A free service fee does not mean free state registration or continuing compliance.

Business setup guidance

Managed Service lists an EIN, operating agreement, business-advisor help and a filing review by the advisor, not an attorney. Its included 30-day Business Advisor Plan then automatically renews at $49/month unless canceled.

A broader professional team

Expert Service lists an advisor, attorney and accountant, professional filing review, bookkeeping and tax-preparation support. Its included 30-day Expert Service Plan then automatically renews at $99/month unless canceled. Check the exact service scope; longer document reviews can carry separate charges.

These are the Basic / Managed / Expert cards actually reached through the ordinary buyer link. Select only the continuing support you want; confirm every recurring service and its cancellation in the order.

Why another LegalZoom package page may look different

A separately reviewed published version at the same URL labels its packages Basic $0, Pro $249 and Premium $299 plus state fees. That version describes Pro’s 30-day attorney service renewing at $49/month and Premium’s six-month bookkeeping benefit renewing at $9.99/month. Those are a different package family: they are not substituted for Managed or Expert’s services or renewal terms.

Confirm which family your order uses. License-report billing cadence remains unresolved in the supplied research; do not add an assumed charge or count a bundled service twice. A monthly billing amount alone does not establish the contractual commitment.

Keep the other company jobs separate

Formation creates the company. A registered agent receives official notices; an ordinary mailbox receives everyday correspondence. No included registered agent or mailbox is inferred from these package cards.

An eligible applicant can request an EIN directly from the IRS without a service fee. Check the official EIN route ↗. State filing directly is another option; compare the actual help you want.
