MailboxCompare · printable address-role worksheet

Before publishing
an address.

Work through one proposed address and its intended uses. Keep completed names, addresses and account details private.

One address is not every address.

Correspondence · returns · physical operations · legal notice · identity verification

  1. Identify the use

List where the address will appear. A website, invoice, newsletter, return label, filing and identity check may ask for different address roles.

Use / where it appears / what becomes public
  2. Ask the right authority

Check the actual sender, platform, carrier, institution or filing office. A mailbox seller cannot decide what another organization accepts.

Authority / accepted field and format / evidence date
  3. Authorize the destination

Confirm the exact person or company name, item types, location and receiving/identity process. Receiving names and private logins are separate.

Names / mail or parcels / authorization still needed

Budget the work.
Verify the switch.

  1. Check full effort and cost

Include setup, subscription, scans, storage, handling, postage, renewal and exit. Keep missing charges open; a deposit or prepaid balance is separate from consumed expense.

Known charges / still unpriced / source and date
  2. Update deliberately

Activate first. Update important senders, record confirmations and check the first arrival. Plan overlap, downloaded files and final originals before closing an old account.

Activation / sender confirmations / first arrival / old-account exit

What must be confirmed before you act?
