Keep the envelope with the letter
VPM has an optional setting to download the envelope image and scanned contents together in one PDF. Requested scans still use the selected plan’s allowance.
Optional autoscan queues eligible letters, excluding packages and bundles. Manual requests control allowance use; PDF email notifications can collect completed scans.
With an ordinary mailbox, choose wanted originals to ship. Combined parcels are normally repacked; request special handling if original packaging matters. Handling and postage are extra.
Staff sign for supported facility deliveries; confirm Restricted Delivery authorization first. Receipt is separate from forwarding. For pickup or private staff access, compare another option.

The ordinary-mail clock begins when an item arrives in the account. Request a paid extension before expiry; the help describes 30-day blocks, normally up to 180 days total. Perishables have a separate seven-day limit.
Archive shreds the physical item and retains its digital copy. Trash also shreds paper and removes the scan; its digital Trash folder is cleared after 30 days or when emptied. Digital Trash is not a paper-recovery window.
Do not Archive an original you still need. Check downloaded pages before requesting irreversible disposal. Expired-item retrieval is not guaranteed; do not plan around an older help article’s possible recovery attempt.

Who can receive and manage mail?
Receiving names do not buy separate logins. Added users may have owner-equivalent access; private separation is not established. Each personal adult needs current authorization.

Register business names for routing. The older recipient article’s primary-holder-only form wording must not replace current USPS requirements for each personal adult.

What does a lease add to the personal service?
It is optional and outside the core subscription. Ask for the specific plan and address, cash due now, later rent, any plan-specific processing fee, refundable deposit and utility charges. Monthly billing does not establish a monthly commitment. Published lease minimums and deposit rules conflict, so a complete lease total is held until the selected house and terms resolve them. A returned deposit is not an automatic price discount.
